1. What exactly does Remote Agent do?
Remote Agent is a completely hidden software application designed to monitor
and record all the activity on your computer. But unlike all other Internet
recording software - Remote Agent offers you the ability to get SMS alert
messages to your mobile phone when the user visits certain web pages, types
certain words, logs on to the Internet etc.
Also a very powerful feature is that Remote Agent works totally remote so after
you have installed you Remote Agent on the target computer, all you have to do
is to surf into your InfoPatrol.com web account and see all information your
Remote Agent reports to you and configure the agent to work exactly as you
want.
You may say Remote Agent works like a surveillance camera pointed directly at
your computer monitor, monitoring and recording anything anybody does on your
computer, and storing this in a secure area on your InfoPatrol.com web account
for your later review.

Your Remote Agent will take care of this as well. When the user
goes offline from the Internet your Remote Agent will detect this and instead
of saving the information to your InfoPatrol.com web account, it will save all
the information secretly and encrypted to the local disc. As soon as the user
is online again - your Remote Agent will send the information your
InfoPatrol.com web account.

No – in most cases a firewall will not stop your Remote Agent from
working. Remote Agent uses a special feature to send recording information to
our server, which makes it almost impossible to detect. Of course we haven't
tested all the firewalls in the world - but so far (and we have tested many!)
we haven't found one firewall that discovers and/or stops Remote Agent from
working.

19. What are Custom Actions and Predefined Actions?
Inside your InfoPatrol.com web account you can specify exactly when you want to
have an SMS or Email alert message, or take a screenshot photo.
Either you can specify your own "Custom Actions" words that your Remote Agent
will look for in web addresses, key strokes or wherever you want, and perform
the action you specified - e.g. send you an SMS alert message to you mobile
phone and take a screenshot. So with "Custom Actions" you can specify exactly
what word or text to look for and where to look for it - and what action(s) to
execute.
Instead of - or as a complement to - specifying your own action words you can
use InfoPatrols "Predefined Actions", which is a set of predefined actions
specified for you to use, as you like. InfoPatrol have several different
"Predefined Actions" and one example is our "Pornography & Sex Block" which
contains hundreds of words related to pornography & sex. When one of these
words exists somewhere in a chat conversation, key strokes typed, window title
or web address the Remote Agent will send you an email or SMS depending on your
settings. Another example of a "Predefined Action" is our "Log on to the
Internet" which sends you an Email or SMS indicating that the user logs on to
the Internet or become active on the computer after one hour of inactivity.
Many users prefer to use our "Predefined Actions" and "Custom Actions" in
combination.

22. What are Remote Agents “Recording Filter
Level”?
Remote Agents Recording Filter Levels are a powerful feature to help you to
save only the recording information you are interested, that is, no duplicate
and unnecessary records.
E.g. Say your Remote Agent have saved the web page address ‘www.cnn.com’ to
your InfoPatrol.com web account earlier today. Now if the user is surfing in to
‘www.cnn.com’ one more time during the same day, your Remote Agent will save
the very same web address to your InfoPatrol.com web account, which will result
in a duplicate web address for the same day. This is perfectly fine and Remote
Agent allows you to have as many duplicate records as you like, but for the
common user this is unnecessary information and also, it allocates unnecessary
Web Space on your web account.
So if you want to get rid of duplicate and unnecessary records for your “Web
Sites” and “Applications” ran, log into your InfoPatrol.com web account and
click on “Settings” -> “My Agent”, and apply the filtering levels you want.

Another feature that will affect the amount of data that is sent, is the filtering levels you can specify on your InfoPatrol.com web account.
